I would like to thank everyone for registering and persuading your friends out to register to become a potential stem cell donor. For patients who are still looking for that match, everyday that sneaks by scares them a little bit more. They get scared of not being able to find a match, finding the match too late, the donor rejecting to perform further testing, or transplanted stem cells refusing to graft.
Please do not refuse the further testing request and commit yourself to being a donor.
You can be that patient's one and only savior. Please don't throw away their one and only hope to surviving these rare diseases. It's already a tough battle for them.
